I went out to take sexy pics and eclipse, but underestimated amount of people that will be watching it. So I took some pics of me and then had this stupid idea: I walked dressed up like >>955284187 (without cat ears) to hill with a nice view, only to find about 200 people all around, waiting for eclipse. I kept my cool, just smiled and set up my tripod and camera. Took some pics, but clouds rolled in and it wasn't that good in the end. And it was all quite stressful lol
Here's one of the pics I took.
Eclipse was like 90% max here so very noticeable, but not complete. If you can get into proper band of totality for 100%, where you can see the corona, it's awesome and you will really not regret traveling for it!

Here is maybe better photo, zoomed all in, but still clouds spoiled most of the fun as you can see.
I took some decent pics, like me watching the sunset and eclipse, but nothing more risky of course.
But yes, go if you can, you will love it.

And yes, with clear skies you can see various details of the sun, even maybe a sun flare if you are lucky to get one.

Yes and you can see the corona "cloud" around it that's normally not bright enough, unless sun surface is covered.
