Today on “Would They Survive” we’ll be taking a look at the fictional city of Raccoon City and asking ourselves which OC posters of the infamous eternal trap/femboy/trans/twink threads on the /b/ board of 4chan would survive its apocalyptic destruction.
Raccoon City was an industrial city located in Arklay County, an isolated mountain county in the Midwestern United States. It was destroyed during the t-virus outbreak in 1998, however for this thought experiment we’ll be placing the events of this outbreak in 2024 with all of the OC posters for whatever reason, being present.
For starters we’ll be looking at FRISSON, an older, active poster across /b/ and /lgbt/
Known for being emotionally sensitive and longing for a traditional life of marrying, settling down and possibly having kids. While FRISSON may posses higher intelligence, level headedness and more experience than other posters, her reputation for being a bleeding heart liberal (used to describe one who shows excessive sympathy for another's misfortune) would ultimately spell her demise, as attempting to save lives other than her own, would slow her down and most likely put her in more danger.
Conclusion: FRISSON would not survive Raccoon City
Next up we’ll be look at HEARTS. Another active poster of /b/ HEARTS is known for her European eccentricity, beauty, kindness and self proclaimed wealth. However, unlike our previous entry (though her kindness has been known to get her in trouble) HEARTS isn’t all rainbows and butterflies. Possessing a much tougher, business driven side that she often attempts to hide. Combined with allegedly being rich. HEARTS could easily buy herself a way out of Raccoon City. Rather it be through bribing officials or sleeping her way around.
Conclusion: HEARTS Survives Raccoon City

Moving on to another poster and perhaps the most active, RACH. Known for being aggressive, tough, horny, and having a fat ass. RACH has attracted just as many supporters as he has haters. RACH is a known gymrat and obsessed with giving off a certain image. (Possibly attempting to push the tranny thoughts as far down as he can) RACH refers to himself a femboy. Having had more time to work on his body than anyone else, as well as claiming to have once knocked out an autistic black kid in school, RACH would be more than fit to handle the hardships of a zombie outbreak and would have no problem traversing Raccoon City and fighting any opposition he came across.
Conclusion: RACH survives Raccoon City
Continuing, we take a look at HTA. Another active poster. HTA is mysterious as he is polarizing. Though he lacks in mental fortitude (often going on schizophrenic rants and regressing to baby talk in conversation) and physical prowess (perhaps being one of the weakest and scrawniest posters out of everyone) he more than makes up for it with his unwavering determination. Once he has become fixated on something, HTA will autistically, even religiously fixate on it and nothing else. In a zombie outbreak this feat could come in handy as he would have the persistence and tunnel vision needed to survive and escape despite his shortcomings. Not to mention his weapon training which would come in handy dispatching zombies and human opposition alike.
Conclusion: HTA survives Raccoon City
Next on our list is CHERRY. An infamous poster that mostly keeps a low profile now because of her reputation of, well let’s just say, being a little too friendly with dogs. Because of this. Cherry would most likely be looking for dogs rather than thinking of a way to escape Raccoon City and would end up running into a pack of infected zombie dogs that would tear her apart.
Conclusion: CHERRY does not survive Raccoon City

The next poster we’ll be looking at is BLACK ANON. Despite not being well known for his intelligence or physical power, does have a talent for being cunning, manipulative, calculating and charismatic enough to draw attention and gain trust. Because of these traits. He would most likely come up with a devious scheme to latch onto other survivors and possibly blend into any group he needs to while using them for his own benefit. This ability to jump from group to group and gather allies could ultimately serve to help his escape.
Conclusion: BLACK ANON survives Raccoon
City
And who better to follow Black Anon than our next poster, BWS. Another controversial figure. Known for saying a lot with a little, he only talks and shows himself when he believes it’s necessary but when he does, it has an impact. In an outbreak this could serve to hurt or help him. Depending on who he comes across, as he is a man known for making enemies but has also gathered a few supporters. However, his ingenuity in an outbreak can’t be understated, as in the past he’s gone as far as to craft his own system from scratch. Assuming he could use this same ability to create an anti zombie system, BWS could certainly fend off attacks and lay out a path to escape the city.

Onto our next poster, SCARLETT. Much like FRISSON, is one of the older members of the /b/ threads. What he lacks in physical strength he makes up for in strategic planning and adaptability. As seen with his experience playing Table Top rpg games. SCARLETT could easily use this knowledge to plan out the best route to escape and could factor in the danger and risk factor of any encounter along the way.
Conclusion: SCARLETT survives Raccoon City
Moving over to, RADA, perhaps not the smartest or most emotionally mature person, is known for being a hard worker, who slaved away at his job long before the outbreak, sculpting his body into a prime shape for surviving a zombie apocalypse. Rather it be running, evading or fighting RADA could easily hold his own.
Conclusion: RADA survives Raccoon City
Next up we have THICK ANON, KAO, CHASTEFAG, GUREN, JESS, TRAPPHOTOGRAGHY, CALI and any other posters that don’t have much information or notable traits (that I’m aware of)
So unfortunately not much can be said about them and they would probably group together during the outbreak or get lost in the panicking crowds and be picked off one by one by other infected humans. However survival is not completely out of the picture as we can see with TRAPPHOTOGRAGHY, who often takes pics in the wilderness and could possibly have avoided the worst of the outbreak or CALI who’s known for flirting with black men, could have grouped together with posters like Black Anon & Blint and made it out the city.
Conclusion: INCONCLUSIVE

Unfortunately for our last poster, TIM. If what I’ve heard is to be believed, he never stood a chance of escape. Being Ex Military in Raccoon City is a death sentence as all police, military and STARS members were hunted down and slain by NEMESIS-T TYPE as they placed the greatest risk to umbrella.
